Sona School of Business and Management is proud to announce its collaboration with Bajaj Finserv in launching the Certified Professional in Banking, Finance, and Insurance (CPBFI) program. This initiative is part of Bajaj Finserv's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts aimed at empowering students with essential skills for a successful career in banking, insurance, and finance.
The CPBFI program is a 96-hour duration course designed to provide students with in-depth training in key areas such as Banking, Insurance, Psychology, and Communication. This comprehensive curriculum is tailored to help students gain a holistic understanding of the financial services industry and prepare them for future career opportunities.
To ensure students’ readiness, a pre-assessment quiz will be conducted at the beginning of the program. This quiz is intended to gauge the capabilities of the students but will not be graded. Upon completing the course, students will undertake a post-assessment with a 50% weightage. Successful completion of the course and the assessment will earn students a Pan India Certificate directly from Bajaj Finserv, enhancing their professional profile.
To maintain the integrity and value of the program, 75% attendance is mandatory. This ensures that students fully benefit from the training. Non-compliance with the attendance norm could result in the college being blacklisted from future collaborations with Bajaj Finserv, preventing further opportunities for students.
Bajaj Finserv is committed to supporting students beyond certification. A placement/job fair will be organized for students who successfully complete the program, provided 500 students from the Salem region are certified. This presents an excellent opportunity for students to network with potential employers, including Bajaj Finserv's tie-up companies and banks, for rewarding career prospects.
Even after the completion of the program, Bajaj Finserv will extend support to the students for up to one year. This includes helping students apply for job opportunities with Bajaj Finserv and its network of partner companies and banks, ensuring they are well-prepared for the professional world.
As part of the program, there is a mandatory Rs. 1000 fee per student, which is collected by the management. This fee is not for Bajaj Finserv, but to ensure that students attend the program with full commitment and focus. The nominal fee is designed to encourage participation and attentiveness throughout the training process.
A key feature of the CPBFI program is that students will be trained on how to crack interviews, particularly for roles at Bajaj Finserv and its associated companies. This practical, career-focused training will help students hone the skills needed to succeed in the competitive job market.
Sona School of Business and Management is excited to offer this unique opportunity to its students through the Bajaj Finserv CPBFI program. This initiative not only provides high-quality education but also equips students with the necessary tools to excel in the fields of banking, finance, and insurance. We encourage all eligible students to make the most of this opportunity for career advancement.
