Sona Bazaar- 2021


SONA Bazaar -2 nd March 2021 "Marketing" is the promotion of products, especially advertising & branding. Marketing practice tends to be seen as a creative industry, which includes advertising, distribution and selling. Marketing mix is a deciding factor in formulating marketing techniques for the success of a particular brand, commodity or company. The components of marketing mix are: Product, Price, Place, Promotion. Sona School of Management offers various Marketing courses. To enhance the learning into practise a bazaar was planned.   Objectives: Enable students
  • To know the effective marketing strategy which influence customer to purchase a product of a Bazaar.
  • To know the marketing and promotional strategy of a bazaar.
  • To understand how a Bazaar Establishes and maintain its position in retailing through promotion.
  • To learn the risk, ups and downs in selling
Sona School of Management organised Sona Bazaar at the college premises on March 2, 2021. The platform was created to empower students to pursue entrepreneurship and marketing techniques which they have learned during their course. It was inaugurated by the Vice Chairman Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, Sona group of Institutions. The Bazaar featured 32 with a participation of around 250 students comprising of services, food and textiles. Students were allotted with the stalls on the eve and promotional strategies were carried out in a tremendous way through campus canvas, promo video, pamphlets and telecast in all social media. Taking this opportunity, students showcased Sona Ayush Health care products, 90???s mittai, Nitrogen biscuits, Fuljar soda, Jigarthanda, Milkshakes, Mocktails, Cosemetics, Sarees, Jewellery, Men???s suit, Women???s trends, Bakery items, Ice cream, Plant seed French fries, smileys etc??? The students have understood the way of generating capital, team work, coordination, working towards a common purpose and sharing the profit. Indeed, it was a Fabulous and Fantastic show. The Bazaar was carried out by MBA team with coordination by Dr.P.Prabadevi, Dr.V.P Rameshkumaar and Prof.V.Jothi Francina.
