Sona School of Management organised a Mega Event, Family Business Conclave on ???Family Business and Entrepreneurship??? in association with TiE Chennai on 29 November 22.Around 350 were registered and members from Tanstia,  AVR jewellers, Nandhi Dhall mill, Rettiai kili rice mill, Arthanari loom centre, Megawin swith gear and various other leading association attended the conclave. The programme was hosted by Dr.V. Jothi Francina, Assistant Professor, MBA with the team of students. Dr.P.K Anjani, HoD, MBA welcomed the dignitaries and delegates followed by special address of Dr.S.R.R Senthil Kumar , Principal, Sona College of Technology. The dignitaries on the dias lighted the lamp followed by the Inaugural address by Mr.Thyagu Valliappa, Vice Chairman, Sona group of Institutions. CA. Dr. I/S Prasad, FCA, DISASRI CA IS PRASAD and  Ms. Akhila Rajeshwar, Executive Director at TiE Chennai delivered the keynote address and Mr. C. Valliappa, Chairman, Sona Group of Institutions gave the Presidential address. Mr. Venkateswaran Doraisamy, Managing Partner, Venbro Polymers, Erode, Mr. K Palaniappan, Managing Director, Ratna Group and Mr. PL Palanisamy, Promoter, Selvi mess, PLP Group, Salem, shared their experience on the topic ???Evolution of Family Business??? followed by a panel discussion headed by Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, Vice Chairman, Sona Group of Institutions on ???Enabling High Growth and Capital??? by Mr. Vijetha Shastry, Associate Director, Dextor Capital Advisors, Bengaluru, Mr. Suresh Narasimha, Founder, Cocreate Ventures, Bengaluru, Dr Vikram Narayen Vinayagam, Managing Director, The Chennai Silks, Coimbatore. The afternoon session was on ???Opportunities for Family Business in Salem??? by Mr. S Muthuraman, Lakshmi Ceramics, Coimbatore, Mr. L Narayanan, Managing Partner, MR COLOR LABS and STUDIOS, Erode and Mr. Venkatesh N, The Founder, Innovative Services, Managing Partner, Blue Koi Ventures, Chennai. Dr.V.P Ramesh Kumaar, Assistant Professor, MBA & PRO made all the arrangements of the conclave with student ambassadors and faculty team and the Programme coordinator Dr.D.Immanuel, Associate Professor, MBA, concluded with the vote of thanks. The dignitaries and the delegates have appreciated the event and were benefitted by the conclave.
